Beauty and Aloe Vera ProductsDoes beauty come in a bottle? There are so many “beauty products” out there that it makes you wonder if good looks really do have to come to you naturally. No product you can buy in a store will change your features, but having beautiful skin can improve your appearance. Instead of buying “beauty” products, buy aloe vera products that might help you reach beauty. Aloe vera has been used for millennia, and was even popular in the earliest civilizations of man. The Egyptians, Persians, Indians, Africans, and Greeks all used aloe. In fact, Cleopatra (Queen of the Nile) used fresh aloe gel to keep her skin soft and young-looking. The first woman to battle the signs of old age, or just the first famous woman to do so? Many people already know about the healing properties of aloe vera, which is famously used to soothe the ache of burns and stings. Even the ancient Egyptians used aloe to treat infections, bites, and burns – which are some common uses of aloe vera today. But for an almost equally long period of time, aloe vera has been used to as a beauty aid. After all, aloe vera has long been a main ingredient in many lotions – like the kind you might use on your face to battle wrinkles and other signs of aging. Aloe vera helps keep the skin firm and supple, and even aids in the treatment of acne. Dry or irritated skin, boils, even eczema – aloe vera can treat it all. This makes aloe vera an extremely useful ingredient in many beauty and skin products. In fact, the word “beauty” and the phrase “aloe vera products” goes hand in hand. Aloe vera is an extremely useful, naturally-growing substance, yet its abundance doesn’t take away from its value. Aloe vera helps speed up the healing process while offering pain relief, which is one of the reasons its largely known as a good medicine for burns. Aloe vera takes the hot sensation out of burns quickly. If there is a “wonder drug” for all problems of the skin, then it’s aloe vera. It’s the juice inside the leaves of aloe plants that makes them so important – the juice is what we know as aloe vera. Instead of buying hundreds of dollars’ worth of beauty products, consider growing an aloe vera plant instead. To release the valuable juices inside the leaves, simply break off a piece of the aloe leaf. The juice will ooze out from the opening, ready to be used for everything from acne treatment to burn medication. In fact, legend says that growing aloe in the home has magical properties. Legends holds that growing aloe wards against evil, such as household accidents and fire. It may just be an old wives’ tale, but it’s a fact that aloe vera is a wonderful ointment for the skin – and that really is good luck. Growing an aloe plant in your home is almost as good as having an entire beauty counter at your disposal – only a whole lot cheaper and much more convenient. Why not try nature’s remedy, since you’ve already tried everything else? |
