Home :: Lipsticks :: Applying Lipstick How to apply lipstick?1. First prime your lips with a good base of foundation and powder to remove all color from your lips. 2. Outline your lips with a lip pencil - The same shade or just a shade darker than your lipstick, Define the center curve on the upper lip with two precise strokes. 3. Continue the line of the upper lip, keeping your mouth closed and relaxed. Use short strokes, as they are easier than a continuous line. 4. On the lower lip, work form the center to the corners. 5. Work some lipstick into a brush and fill the outline of the lips. Work gradually towards the outline, don't cover it with a lipstick. 6. Open your mouth wide and brush the color into the corners, so that there are no unfinished edges. 7. Blot with a tissue paper. 8. Touch up with some more color. For a more natural look for the day time, blot again lightly with a tissue, but if you like the shimmer on your lips for the evening, do not blot after the final application. TIP: You may also use the tip of your lipstick to outline your lips and then fill them. Remember not to use the tip to fill the lips. FOR LONGER WEAR OF LIPSTICK:The lipstick tends to smudge and smear very easily because of the creamy consistency. To avoid this, apply a layer of foundation on the lips before applying lipstick. FOR A MORE NATURAL LOOK:Blot lips with a tissue paper after the final application. FOR A TRENDY LOOK:Shining lip liner could be used for outlining matte lips. This looks very trendy. Whenever applying lip liner always start from the center and then move towards the corner. Apply a light shade of foundation followed by powder on your lips to remove the color from your lips. 2. Start with a lip liner pencil in a color that closely matches your color of the lipstick. 3. Make the outline just inside your natural lip line. 4. Now fill with lipstick and then blend. TIP: Using a matte lipstick will also help to make your lips appear smaller.

| Hi!! Your tips are very good. In summer use multanimitti with rose water, it acts as a natural conditioner for the skin...then do take the steam as well... | |

| To make your lips look bigger, apply lip liner on the line of your lips. Then fill in lips with the liner. Apply clear gloss on top with a Q-tip. Finally, add a little shimmer to give a full lip effect. | |

| Lemon is good in clearing up dark areas around the skin. Just cut a lemon in two halves and rub onto dark areas around the skin. It works better, with salt added to it too. | |
