Basically, when Jorge (Bacon), the egotistical boss at a posh salon pushes one of his hairstylists, Gina (Latifa), too far, she ends up leaving and opening up her own salon, and she ends up inheriting an incredibly opinionated group of stylists, as well as a very colorful clientele and a sexy downstairs neighbor, and this movie is truly one that is enjoyable and humorous for all. This can easily be considered as one of Queen Latifah’s best movies of all time, and this is because she fits the character so perfectly and truly makes it so very believable. As well, she plays along with the other cast members wonderfully, and as a team they really make the entire movie work and come together perfectly. So, if you are looking for a great movie that you can snuggle up with your partner to or watch with the whole family, then this is definitely one that you are going to want to check out.
