NUTRITIONAL TIPS FOR HEALTHY NAILSHere are the guidelines to follow for the health of your nails: 1)Lack of vitamin A and calcium causes dryness and brittleness, take foods and drink rich in vitamin A and calcium. 2)Eat a diet composed of 50% fruits and raw vegetables in order to supply necessary vitamins, minerals and enzymes. Eat food rich in sulfur and silicon such as broccoli and onions. 3)Drink plenty of water and other liquids. 4)Drink fresh carrot juice daily, this is high in calcium and phosphorus and is excellent for strengthening nails. 5)Red skin around your cuticles can be caused by poor metabolism of essential fatty acids. 6)Cuts and cracks in the nails may indicate a need for more liquids. 7)A lack of insufficient zinc can cause development of white spots on nails. Eat well and your whole body will be better, healthier and more beautiful!!
