A Girl's Guide to Longer, Stronger Hair

A woman's hair should be her pride and joy. Want stronger, longer, hair but don't have money for costly weaves and extensions? No problem, because the majority of us don't! Here are some simple steps you can follow that will help you get the long, flirty, locks you crave!

Step 1: Know the Truth.

There is nothing in technology that will technically "make" your hair grow faster, but there are number of things that will stimulate growth and health in your hair. And remember, long hair isn't best for everyone. If you don't' have the time for the up-keep, you might as well forget it. It can be a burden if you play a lot of sports, and it'll cost you some extra time in the morning.

Step 2: Keep You're Mane Clean!

Dirty and greasy hair roots can prevent hair from growing because it blocks hair follicles. Wash and condition regularly. (If you have black hair, oil regularly as well.)

Step 3: Get Your Hair Cut Regularly

Cutting your hair is an important part of helping it grow! If all your hair ends are damaged, then you need to get them cut so your hair will grow strong. After about 2 and half months, your hair might be more than an inch long, and that's just because you cut it! Give it a try!

Step 4: Have a Healthy You!

When it comes to hair- or anything else for that matter,, things like poor diet, illness, food, pattern hair loss, stress, and emotional sickness may have a negative impact on your hair. Vitamins A, B, and E are great for truly healthy hair. Iron, zinc, and leafy greens help your hair grow fast, as well! And you definitely have to get enough sleep!

Step 5: Experiment

If you have the money and time for synthetic and weaves, more power to you! Just make sure you know if they are right for you and you know how to take care of them. Wigs, falls, instant ponytails are also alternate options. Mostly, chicks with heart-shaped or oval faces look good with long hair. If you've got a round face, that's great too! Make sure to layer your hair so it compliments-not hides- the beautiful shape of your face! And don't forget, short hair is as beautiful and flattering as long hair! Do whatever suits the goddess inside you.
