The Multi-Vitamin

It makes total sense in our fast paced world and non-stop life to just buy one multi-vitamin containing all the essential vitamins within that we need to get through the day and be done with it.  You're thinking, all the vitamins are in that one majic pill and you only have to buy one bottle.  Right?  But, I specifically asked a pharmacist about multi-vitamins and here's what she disclosed.

*The majority of people purchase and take the multi-vitamin and they are very popular

*The vitamin is so compacted and hard that your body only is able to dissolve about 1/4 th of it and then it discharges the rest usually still in pill form.

*Your body literally gets very little benefits from the multi-vitamin.

*This is not widely known and It's far better and more beneficial to buy and take all vitamins separately.

The Individual Vitamin

I know that you're thinking that buying all the separate vitamins will cost a lot more money, take up even more of your precious time and anyway you have'nt a clue which vitamins you need for your body.  Please follow these tips about individual vitamins.

*Go to any pharmacy or doctor and break the news that you want to take individual vitamins instead of the multi-vitamin and they will ask you a few questions and then tell you which ones you need for your unique body.

*It won't cost you that much extra if you watch the sale adds every week.  There are at least two mainstream stores that run sales on individual vitamins every week, with great sales of either buy one/get one half off or buy one/get one free.  The chain vitamin stores at the shopping mall offer sales as well, so stock up in one trip.

*Always buy the vitamins in one of these forms:  the soft gel, the gel caps, the clear capsules and the chalky(dissolvable)white tablets.  These are guaranteed to dissolve fully, giving your body the maximum usage out of every vitamin.  Avoid the rock hard vitamins.

*Get in the habit of taking them every morning after a meal.  It won't take that much more time out of your day.
