Get Glamorous Hair
Tips for beautiful, glamorous hair:
- Keep your hair clean. This seems very basic, but it is often overlooked. Dirty hair is unmanageable, looks unpleasant and is generally pain leading to a lot of “bad hair days”. You can even wash your hair daily without worry whether you are going to damage it, as long as you use a good quality, gentle shampoo that is suited to your hair type.
- Try to keep your shampoo and conditioner separate. Even though nowadays you get a lot of “2 in 1” shampoos with conditioners in them, it is not advisable to use a combination of both. Both have entirely different functions, and chances are, if you use a 2 in 1, you won’t be getting the maximum benefit from either.
- Trimming. Even if you want your hair to grow long, you should go in for a trim every six to eight weeks. This will get rid of split ends, and make it appear thicker. Also, it will maintain your hairstyle.
- Avoid brushing when wet. Always comb wet hair. Never brush wet hair since it can lead to breakage and damage.
- Get the right haircut. More often than not, women get haircuts based on what looks good on someone else and assume that it will work for them. That fact doesn’t always hold true. Look for a haircut that will suit your face shape and your features.
Glamorous hair styles
While there is virtually an endless list of glamorous hairstyles that you can try out, right from celebrity hair-do’s to styles for the prom, there are a few basic ones which will start you off and you can work from there. Here they are!
The up do
This is a classic yet glamorous look that can work for just about any special occasion. Pull your hair back in a ponytail while leaving a small section underneath. Take this remaining section and wrap it around your ponytail. Use bobby pins for any loose ends, but make sure that they’re hidden. Use a bit of hairspray to keep it in place.
You could try variations with this basic style such as using a sparkling headband or pretty clips. You could also decorate the base of your ponytail.
Another alternative to the up do is making an elegant French twist high up on your hair. It is one of the classiest looks.
Leaving your hair loose
You can style your loose hair according to your wishes and let it fall to your shoulders. Again, use hairspray to hold it in place. Another variation is taking a small section of hair from either side, and making a kind of half-ponytail while letting the remaining hair fall loose. Experiment and have fun with it!
