| well im 21, i knew there wasnt anythin wron withthem, but being intimate with someone you become more aware of your body. so i was a bit worried that my girl friend would be repelled by them since id did not know what they were. this has cleared things up for me thanks. but id trather not put any part of me near a lazer. | |

| man....im 15 now and i first noticed them when i was 13 and though i had herpies or something but since i did nt have sex i though they were nothing and would go away....after a bit of time i noticed two little bumps on my lips and then i really started to look in to it and because i was about to ask a girl out lol( its allwas about a girl:P ) i found this site and many others and im finaly at ease...i fell so much better knowing im not the only one with this problem lol nobodys notived them so for but im only scared that somebody will notive them like in the changing room but you can berly see them and i no its just me being stupid but i hope them go away soon p.s. thx for making this site it helped allot | |

| I went to the doctor, then to the dermatologist for a second opinion. And they said not to worry about. You shouldn't do anything to them, but if you really wanted to they could freeze them off, but its really painful. NOTE: If they get big or worsen you should get them checked out. | |

| Oh wow, this really does set me at ease. I started noticing them at age 15 and they have gotten a little worse since I have turned 20. They are embarrassing indeed and I dont want people to think they are an STD. I wish all of you luck with them fading away and myself. | |

| yah man, i had this shit since i was like 13 and went through depression and axiety cuz of this damn abnormality we all have. We all probably over react. Im 23 now and have had several girlfriends that have all been over 2 year relationships. None of them ever said anything about fordyce. Though i my self still hate this shit, and it seems to never stop expanding as im growing. Even though other girls have never seemed to mind im still self concious about it when im with a new girl. Has anyone tried any of the other creams besides accutane that don't have bad side effects. I also hear laser treatment doesn't work well, and comes back even worse later. | |

| Studying medicine didn´t prevent me from being ignorant about those spots. They didn´t seem too frightening to me, I told myself for years they were sebaceous glands, but it seemed unnormal to me an did bother me from time to time. Nice getting it right now. They never caused any problems though and now they´ve got a name I will not have to think about them anymore. They´re part of me and it´s all fine. | |
