| I am 32 now and I have had Fordyce's spots on the shaft of my p*nis and my test*cles for as long as I can remember. I also noticed it on the inside of my lips and on the inside of my foreskin. As I have suffered from pretty serious acne since I was 13 I was eventually put on Accutane. This was meant to clear up my face but had the welcome side effect of reducing my fordyce's spots as well. I cannot imagine however that any doctor would prescribe accutanee to get rid of your fordyce's condition alone as accutane can only be taken for so many months to avoid damage to your body (mainly the liver). Also as mentioned in the article above, the spots re-appeared after I stopped taking the drug. I don't think anyone has ever noticed the spots on my lips and my fiancee does not seem to have any problems with the ones on my p*nis. | |

| Thanks for the very good explanation of "the Fordyce’s Condition Problem" and the recommended options of treatment! As you said I also had problems with this. Fordyce's spots are not well-known and it is difficult to find something about the ways of treatment on the net. For me it's an ungly plague, I am very happy to know there is a way to treat it, so thanks again!!! | |
