Laser Freckle removal Solution

You may long to find the perfect Freckle removal method if you are covered with them. Freckles are tiny to large flat spots that appear on the skin areas frequently exposed to the sun. Areas most affected are the arms, hands, face, shoulders, chest and back. They are seen in children and people with fair skin. Red haired persons are more prone to freckles due to a generic link. It is also known as ephilides. The brown color is due to the accumulation of pigments in skin cells. It is prevalent in the summer, but fades during the winter months because the new cells replace the old ones. Freckles become less visible when a person gets older. Freckles are not the same as age spots that only appear when a person reaches forty. Age spots don’t fade during the winter months. Freckle removal can be done in a number of ways of which Freckle Laser Removal seems to work the best.

What causes freckles?

Cells in the skin produces a pigment called melanin, which gives the skin color. When the skin is exposed to sunlight, it produces more melanin in order to protect cells beneath the surface. Melanin builds up in one spot and causes flat brown spots. The spots get darker when they are exposed to more sunlight. After continues exposure to sunlight, the skin layers thicken. People with darker skins, don’t develop freckles as often as blonde or fair skinned people do.

Freckle removal methods

Bleaching agents: are the most common method used, but don’t have a permanent effect. The bleaching agents attempt to fade the color of the spots so that they fit in with the rest of the skin surface. The surrounding skin is more often colored either darker or lighter, causing the freckles to appear more prominent. The bleaching agents may also result in burning of the skin.

Cosmetic covering: of the freckles is effective if the freckles are light but it doesn’t cover the darker spots.

Liquid Nitrogen freeze: is more effective than cosmetic covering and bleaching, but can result in damage to surrounding skin areas.

Retin-A: is effective but results are only visible after a few months.

Natural ways: include washing your face with sour milk. It prevents peeling because the lactic acid smoothes the skin. Masks made from strawberries, cucumbers, apricot and sour cream are also effective. Lemon and parsley juice can be applied to the spots to keep them invisible.

Freckle removal (Freckle Laser Removal)

Freckle Laser Removal is the most effective Freckle removal method. There are now a number of safe laser treatments available. The laser projects an intense light to the affected area and the light is absorbed by oxyhemoglobin and melanin, causing the destruction of the darker cells while leaving the healthy cells in tact. You need to wear goggles to protect your eyes from the intense light. A very thin piece of equipment is used to direct the light.

Pulsed Laser Treatment

The pigmented spots on the body absorb the visible light from the laser, and heat from the light causes the therapeutic effect. No anesthetic is required, but you will feel a mild pinching sensation. The treatment will only last a few minutes. The spots get darker immediately after the treatment and the surrounding skin becomes red. The skin starts to peel after a few treatments and the dark spots fade and disappear. Only one or two treatments are needed for light freckles. Freckle removal takes a bit longer when the spots are dark. The spots should not reappear if you use sun protection lotion and avoid excessive exposure to the sun.

Advantages of Freckle Laser Removal

  1. Treatment only takes a few minutes
  2. No anesthetic is required
  3. You can expect positive results within three to four weeks after treatment
  4. Minimum damage to the skin
  5. Minimum discoloration
  6. Minimal after care
  7. Very little discomfort

Freckle removal by laser only helps for one summer unless you protect your skin. There is a small chance that it can result in worse pigmentation. For this reason, you must request a test on a specific spot first, to see whether it will work for you. You should take precautions like wearing a hat, sunscreen, and using regular masks to prevent freckles from becoming worse.
