| Last summer I was out in the sun everyday. At that time, I didn't have any freckles. I put on sunblock sometimes, and then kind of got careless about it. But then this summer I got tons of freckles on my nose and they aren't little cute ones....they are big like the size of nerds candy and they don't match my skin, they are brown. I'm trying some avon products, and I'm looking for something a lot stronger. I keep telling myself that it was my fault, and it was. So for the people who have small "cute" freckles, be happy about them because there are people out there who are in worse situations. | |

| I heard that putting vinegar on your freckles regularly will slowly fade them. | |

| I've always had freckles, and I've started to use plain yogurt with a dribble of honey dabbed on my face for 30 minutes and then washed of thoroughly, and it has really worked :D | |

| I came to this page like rest of you did, wanting to, somehow feed my need for a media-induced perfection. Above all, commenters like "joan of arch" had forced me to think otherwise. I always tell myself, we should love ourselves like we did when we were 5, but being a 16 year old girl, my own voice is never as loud as a fashion magazine's, even to myself. And that is my fault. We don't need this to feel beautiful girls. People around us already think we are. I think you are too. | |

| I'm 16 and had freckles all my life. I hate them, they're not only on my face but they are every where and they are huge. I was told to put on manure but I'd rather stick with lemon juice which has started to work. | |

| You can help save the world with freckles. I know for certain that there are folks dieing around the world, who need a bit of attention, don't give a rat's booty about your freckles and they'll appreciate the help. The inside beauty is deeper than the freckles on the outside. Why do you hate that you have freckles? It doesn't even matter to reality. People still need help around the world, and if you are on computer, you certainly have an average life span that's going to exceed the majority of the population from all around the world. Honestly, if you cared more about other people, rather than yourself, caring more about what other people think, you would be so superficial. Besides there are a hell of a lot more better things, that you could be doing with your time and energy, than worrying about those harmless, non-life threatening dots on your face and body. Just use your imagination, the kind of inner strength you would have if you weren't troubled by such a self induced mental trauma, to achieve popular status quo beauty. Most people don't even know what beauty is - they never read. How do they have the power to tell you what you should look like and worry about?? | |

| To sammie, if you want your foundation to stay on longer, just spray a bit of hairspray on your face after makeup but make sure you close your eyes. It always does the trick for me. | |

| I'm 14 too and I have freckles. Everyone including guys, tell me that they are cute but I still don't feel pretty with them but I guess there is really no way to get rid of them, so we should all just accept them. | |

| I recently got one on my LIP, its black and ugly. I tried getting it out with needle but I could not. Seems to have reached deep enough and now it just looks worse. | |
