| My five year old daughter had these first, she got them all over the inside of her knees, there were a few big ones that even formed a white head on them. Took her to the doctor and they pretty much told us the same thing, that it would go away on it's own, but prescribed us some cream, that did not work. So finally the bigger ones with white heads started to ooze a little, so I put some plastic gloves on and just popped it. Shortly after that they all went away. Now my three year old has them, in her armpits, on her belly, on her arm, on her pelvic area, and one on her neck basically starting to cover her body. Hers are to far spread to do the popping method, doesn't that sound so gross???, but really you do get at your wits end of seeing these blistery gross little bumps all over your kids body. What is the best cream to use, if I'm going to spend the money for it I want to make sure it works. Any advice???? Please let me know. | |

| My daughter also has them. I did the scapping method. That did not get rid of them. I also did Aldera Cream, that too did nothing. So currently I am on my third day of using Thuja. I think I am seeing a difference. But time will tell. If anyone else used the Thuja, please email me with your reuslts lsimon24@msn.com. Thanks, | |

| Not sure how much this will help you - but - I remember as a child having mollescum on my arm pit. I went to the doctors and they tried freezing them off and they prescribed a topical medicine which came in a nail polish type bottle and my mother would have put it on once a day - it took a couple months to heal up. This was 16 years ago and I have not had one since. | |

| There is a remedy! My son who is 6 years old had mollescum. He was treated by a dermotologist with retina. He is cured. Now my other son got it and our family doctor recommended he use cortizoid cream until he sees the dermotologist. Hope this helps everyone! | |

| My 8 year old son had molluscum for almost 2 years. We were told to leave them alone, they'll go away. But they got worse. I couldn't stand it. I knew there had to be something we could do for him. They were getting closer and closer to his face. So we went to a different doctor. She recognized it as molluscum right away and prescibed Cimetidine liquid - one teaspoon by mouth once per day - and Aldara Cream 5%. We applied a teeny tiny amount of the cream TO EACH BUMP for 3 nights a week FOR 4 WEEKS (he would get up in the mornings and shower the cream off - it's very powerful so you can't leave it on for a long time.) HE HAS NO BUMPS and it's been 2 months. I'm so glad we found a doctor who knew something. So is my son! | |

| My daughter had mollescum contagiosum all over her body at 18 months. My doctor said to leave them alone and they would go away in either 6 months 12 months 18 months or 2 years. My husband and I took her back to the doctor several times. We finally, after 18 month, we decided despite dr.s assurance the treatments were very painful and left scars, that we wanted to see a dermatologist. One week after I made the appt, the worse that they ever got they disappeared. Now 6 months after that my son, whois 14 months older than daughter at 4 got them. My daughter has many small scars. I hope my son, currently has had them for almost a year, that it will go away soon. When they erupt we were given mupirocin to put on.8 | |

| My 9 year old son was diagnosed with Mollescum, they started in his arm pit and spread onto one of his arms and over his torso. I was at my wits end, I did not believe in the doctors comments saying there was no treatment for this. Anyhow I went on the internet and got some heal mollescum, with a liquid which really brought the infection out. I also tried a herbal tablet called Thuga which my son took for one week, he has had this condition for 6 months now and it looks like it is starting to clear up where it had originally began, fingers crossed. I hope they never return and my other son doesn't get this horrible virus. | |

| My 4 year old child was diagnosed with mollescum. We tried waiting to see if they would go away, but they did not. We just went to a dermatologist, and basically he said to get rid of them he needed to scrape them to get the core. He used a numbing spray, and worked very quickly as he said it would sting a little. Yes, my daughter cried, but when it was over, she was fine. We have to go back to do a few more and watch for new ones. He felt it was the only way to stop them from spreading. We also got some topical stuff from him to help the itching. She is doing great now, and I wish she had gone in for this treatment earlier---I would highly recommend you to get the treatment early if you notice them spreading and not going away. She had them on her chest/belly, and started to get to her legs. They told us it is worse on the kids if it goes to their genitals---so monitor closely!!! | |
