Hair Repair

If you have hair, then split ends are a fact of life. But there are ways to deal with these nasties. After shampooing, you can “glue” them back together with a deep conditioner, preferably one that contains wheat protein, which coats the ends of your hair and holds them together. Leave it on for three to five minutes. The water in your hair will heat up the ingredients so they can penetrate damaged ends, making them less prone to future breakage.

To smooth out whatever frizzing remains, use a silicone hair polish or gloss on your hair when styling.

Unfortunately, the only permanent fix is to snip off tattered ends. To keep hair healthy, avoid overheating with the blow-dryer, and use brushes gently.
