How Much Do You Care For Your Body Image

How do you feel about yourself when you look in a mirror? The feeling that you are having now is exactly how you feel about yourself and a person’s perception about themselves is of great importance as to how they look, as this is deeply rooted into one’s self confidence and self respect.

Do you feel comfortable the way you look? If not, what are you doing to get yourself back in shape? If you are not feeling comfortable about yourself and you are not doing anything to fix it, then you are in trouble, because there is a state of conflict inside you that is bugging you all the time to do something about it and you try to quiet those voices inside, but they ask you to stand up and do something about it and I believe that you will do it when you convince yourself to take care of that. I believe that you can.

The first and foremost step that comes into play here is that you look at yourself in the mirror in all angles and then weigh yourself and you will see that where you are according to the standards mentioned regarding height and weight ratio and proportion. Start writing a journal and document your body weight and if possible attach a picture of yourself on a weekly basis to the journal to see what changes are being brought about.

After this step, just start looking at your diet as to what you are eating on a day to day basis and how many calories you are consuming and see what are the foods that you need to cut down. Controlling diet is one of the major steps in bringing about a change to the way you look. Count your grams and watch very carefully as to what you are eating, just remember “You Will Look To What You Eat.”

Start exercising a few minutes every day and then gradually increase it day by day. Don’t expect that you will see an overnight change, it is a slow and gradual process, but the results are definitely positive. It mostly depends on your level of commitment and dedication to yourself.

There will be days when you will be down, at those times do see your pictures that you are clipping to your journal and extract all the motivation from it that you don’t want to look like that and you need a change and remember the words, “I Can, I Will.” Remember this is your fight and your determination will make you win it.
