What a Pair
What strikes to our mind when we hear the word pair? Our mind goes in the world of imagination and comes back with some answers as pair of scissors, pair of socks, lovely pair of Bradpitt and Angelina jolie,Tom n Jerry’s funny pair, Mickey mouse’s and Donald duck’s sweet pair and so on.
Have any of us thought about that pair which is smashed, worn everywhere, which is expected to remain rough and tough and face all difficulties –yes I am talking about the pair of shoes. Pair of shoe plays an important role in each and every person’s life. Imagine yourself without shoes walking barefooted in the scorching heat, stones and thorns hurting your soft and supple sole. Finally you reach home and understand the importance of the pair of shoe though worn in the feet but yet its part and parcel of our life. Suddenly one fine day an advertisement is shown on the television about the sweet “sugar shoes”, hopping “jump shoes” and rough and tough “crocs shoes” and you exclaim “what a pair!!”
Finally sugar shoes are purchases for your wife, your sister, your daughter who is as sweet as sugar. Jump shoes are purchased for a boy who loves hopping and jumping everywhere, for a young chap who wants to show it off to his friends and also by a teenager who is waiting for his rock climbing adventure. Crocs shoes are purchased by the person who feels that no one can dare to harass him.
Sugar shoes, jump shoes and crocs shoes feel sad in the morning as they have to head to different places but at night when all the pairs get together they talk with each other about their life and experiences. They talk about how useful they are to people, they are rough and tough and ready to face any climatic changes. When they are at a party they feel good and people praise them by saying” what a pair”.
A person’s feet remain lonely without sugar shoes, crocs shoes and jump shoes. Looking at sugar shoes, crocs shoes and jump shoes, one thing that comes in my mind is “WHAT A PAIR”.
