Usually dental implant surgery is conducted only in the dental clinic or dentist’s office where the patient has to undergo a kind a discomfort when the surgery is performed. First PhaseTe patient has to select in advance the type of dental surgery he or she needs and depending on the loss the teeth, the procedure will be opted. The dentist will give the preoperative instruction to mould the mental confidence of the patient before beginning the operation. To give a temporary escape from the pain, anesthesia will be given. The anesthesia mediation is used to let the patient to go to the ‘sleep like state’ and he or she can relax from knowing the pain. Therefore, according to the instruction of the dentist, the anesthetic is managed to desensitize the place where the implant is done. After having made the area of implant numb with anesthesia, the opening will be made on the gum and to notice the exposition of the bone. Then a hole will be bored into the jaw using the drilling instrument in order to place the implant. The last step of dental implant surgery is repair of the opening made on the gums. The opening will accept the implant inside and it will take for healing. This healing period may be at least of six months. The dentist will suggest more oral hygiene instructions and tips to be followed after the surgery. Pay regular attention on your implant and if you find any changes, visit immediately your dentist. The real success of the dental implant is based on the growth of the mandible in the area where the implant is fixed. Second PhaseSoon after the first phase is over, the dental implant surgery procedure will be conducted. The surgery starts from the place of implant and the place where the opening is made. Dentist will insert a post into the implant and it is made of titanium plate. The post will be twisted into the implant in the opposite direction with the aim to reach the jaw bone. And this post will be the real support to your prosthetic teeth and it will help replaceing the missing teeth.
