All Natural Hair Treatments for Winters

When summer gives way to the cold weather, hair problems begin to set in. They can range from dry hair, dull hair, split ends to dandruff. It is not necessary for you to go through winter with these problems. With a little time and effort, you can take care of your hair at home with homemade products. These products are not only effective and inexpensive but when you make them at home, you know that only good ingredients are used in it.

Treat Dandruff Using Ginger

When winter arrives, your scalp begins to flake and appears on your hair. This is embarrassing especially, if you have to go out. That bottle of expensive dandruff shampoo is not particularly helpful to treat dandruff since it almost always makes a comeback. Treat dandruff as the most dreaded enemy of your hair and work to eliminate its existence using this Ginger treatment.

Use this mixture twice a week before shampooing for a dandruff free scalp.

For this you will need:

  1. Ginger root
  2. 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  3. 1 teaspoon juice of lemon

Extract a teaspoon of juice from the ginger root and combine it well with the vegetable oil and lemon juice. Apply this concoction to your scalp and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Shampoo and rinse well with cool water.

Deep Condition Hair with Mayonnaise and Avocado

This recipe has been passed down from one woman to another through the generations but still people use only chemical conditoners when their hair needs conditioning. When the chemicals begin to have other effect also on hair, they then start to change products. Change your hair conditioning product forever and begin using this Mayonnaise and Avocado conditioner that has been used by your grandma.

Apply the conditioner well on split ends to make them smooth.
  1. To make this conditioner, you need a jar or can of mayonnaise, yolks of 2 eggs and half avocado.
  2. Mix them with fork till the paste is smooth.
  3. Work this paste from the roots of your hair to the tips.
  4. Cover head with a shower cap and a damp hot towel.
  5. Wash your hair with cool water after half an hour.
Add honey to the conditioner for additional hydration.

This treatment gives miraculous results transforming dry locks into soft, silky and manageable hair within minutes. You can do this once or twice a week depending upon the time you have.

Unlike conditioners and shampoos that contain chemicals, these homemade beauty products for hair do not cause damage to your hair. In fact, they only make your hair healthier with regular use.
