Head Louse Causes: Reasons and Preventive Measures

If you ask the question that what causes head louse? You will not get a specific answer. Today millions are suffering from head louse. They have to undergo a lot of suffering. These parasites live on human scalp and crawl there. They live on scalp skin’s blood. You will constantly feel like scratching your head.

Head louse is mainly the result of unhygienic conditions. If you do not wash and clean your hair regularly with a god shampoo, the oils, sweat and dirt remains in scalp and hair. This provides a nurturing area for lice. They tread in such conditions. You must wash your hair at least two times a week.

What causes head louse can also be answered as due to transfer. Head louse can be transferred from one person to another. Hence is not feasible to visit a person’s house, who has head louse. His carpet, couch, bed- sheets also may have lice. This may cause you head louse.

A female louse lays eggs called as nits. It lays around 50 eggs per day. These eggs are hatched after sometime and they become nymhs and start crawling on your head. They multiply very fast.

The exchange of hats, combs, pillows etc can cause head louse. You must avoid this act. You must encourage children not to do this. They must be educated as regards to harm of performing any such act.
