Natural Remedy for Head Louse is Safest of All

Having head louse is not a simple problem. It has to be handled with tact and the decision of the treatment should be fast. Markets are flooded with many types of remedies in the form of lotions, solutions, creams etc. These are mostly chemical- based solutions and have substances like permethrins and pyrethrins. These are mostly found in insecticides. Thus some people are afraid to use such harmful chemicals. They are afraid of allergy.

Natural remedy for head louse is a good alternative. Natural oils like tea tree oil, eucalyptus oil etc can be used as a natural means of treatment. When these oils are applied on hair and scalp and if kept fro sometime and washed off, will kill lice and nits.

Petroleum jelly, neem based treatment is also effective on head louse. You can apply them on your hair and after keeping it for couple of hours, you must wash them off with a regular shampoo. After that, when you comb your hair, you will find dead lice and nits. Remove them.

Insecticide based products may be harmful to young children. It is not recommended for pregnant females. Thus to get rid of lice, you can use natural remedy for head louse.

Combing treatment is age- old treatment. Specially designed combs having fine tooth have to be used for this purpose. You have to use regularly twice a day for two to three weeks until complete removal is not confirmed. However this treatment if combined with any other treatment of applying natural oils, petroleum jelly, neem- based treatment etc will be more effective.
