How to Prevent Head Louse?

Head Louse is a serious problem and needs to be solved with the urgency. You have to be very cautious that you do not get this problem. Because it is traumatic like a disease and you will feel irritated. Adults may get this problem, but children are more prone to lice problem due to their frequent visit to schools, sports clubs, etc. they come in contact with other children and may get it. Then the problems start.

You must mainly concentrate on how to prevent head louse? This is because prevention is always better than cure. Once you have an encounter with lice problem, you will be frustrated. You can prevent it in many ways. If your child is of school going age then you must screen his scalp and hair frequently. You can use medicated shampoo once in twenty days. If here will be any lice then it will be removed. You can also apply solutions for head lice once in a month. These solutions are very effective and thus if any lice and nits are there you can get rid of them.

You must educate your children and family members about the harms of exchanging combs, hats and caps. You must tell them how important is personal hygiene and how important it is to keep your hair and scalp clean. Only damp and humid conditions attract lice.

If one person gets head louse, treatment has to be very fast. To prevent other family members to get this contagious pest, you must isolate the combs of the infested person. Bed sheets, couch and blankets have o be cleaned thoroughly to prevent others from getting it.

Head lice comb must be used at regular intervals to ensure clean hair. If you still have nits after getting treatment then disinfected comb is the best solution. Nits are strongly attached with the hair near the scalp skin, so it is hard to remove them. Nits removal will not let the problem worsen. It is quite helpful.
