How to treat head louse is a tricky question. There are many answers to this question, as different people will give you different answers. When you have an encounter with head louse, you are an unlucky fellow and are going to get irritated and frustrated of scratching the head.

Head louse can be treated with natural and herbal remedies like organic oils, neem leaves etc. You can use medicated shampoo. You can also use chemical insecticides that are used to kill lice. Combing is also a popular method of treating head louse.

However whichever treatment you use, you will not be fully satisfied. You have to repeat the treatment twice or thrice to increase the effectiveness of the treatment. How to treat head louse? Answer to this question is given to persons who are suffering from this, but what about them who are just suspects of infestation? They should first confirm infestation and then move forward to get treated.

There are many tested and tried methods. Which- ever method you use, it is necessary that it has to be followed by combing with special fine toothed comb. This will also facilitate nit removal. Also, it should be remembered that first cycle will kill the lice and after seven days again the treatment should be used. This is because the nits before seven days will now be hatched. However again after a couple of weeks, you must ensure complete recovery from head louse.
