White Nits: Take Quick Action

Head louse is a problem, which has to be solved at the earliest or you will have to suffer from its repercussions. The after effect of head louse is more and more lice. The lice will multiply like fire. So you have to be preventive from the very inception. But in case you get it you must take the remedial measures very fast.

Nits are the eggs laid by lice. A female louse lays around 50-60 eggs per day. Initially these are brown in color. It lays eggs for many days. These nits live on the hair that is very near to scalp. They are very near to hair follicles and this will give them warmth to facilitate hatching.

 After some days these eggs are hatched. But before they are hatched they turn white or tan. After hatching, only the dry white shells remain. These are therefore said white nits. They are stubbornly attached to the hair like glue. They continue to be like that, unless they are picked up with fingers. But it is a very difficult task. Sometimes the live nit remains in your nail.

Because of their attachment to hair and when these are instance, your hair will look white. This will give you a ridiculous look. You have to take the treatment fast to remove lice and nits. If this problem worsens, then you may have to shave off hair. Just cutting the hair short will not serve the purpose.
