Non -Surgical LiposuctionSurgical liposuction is a procedure in which fat deposits are surgically removed from a specific area of the body. It includes, but is not limited to the abdomen, thighs, knees, breasts, buttocks, arms, back and other areas, which have excess fat. Plastic surgeons recommend that people within their normal weight are the best candidates for liposuction. Also the skin elasticity pays a vital role in this. Liposuction is an answer to many of your problems. You will get a great body post liposuction and gain a lot of confidence. When going in for liposuction, a patient is put under anesthesia. The surgeon then makes an incision in the area, and inserts a vacuum-like instrument, called as cannula, and then the fat is sucked out. Within 10 days, the stitches are removed or fall out. However the recovery time is less. You may resume to your work in a few days. In some cases where the surgery is too minor the patient is allowed to resume back from the very next day. You must be careful while consulting a surgeon. The surgeon must be expert and experienced. You must ask for a few references. You may contact them and get the feedback about the surgeon’s work. This will give you confidence and assurance. Costs of liposuction generally include surgical and non-surgical fee. Surgical fees include the actual cost of the operation, which is dependant upon what area is being operated on, and the size of the patient. Non-surgical fees include the lab tests, supplies, nursing staff, and the cost to use the operating room. You must first get a written estimate by the surgeon on how much it is actually going to cost you. Most health insurance plans do not cover liposuction because it is considered a “cosmetic” procedure. But there are other financial options to cover the expense of the procedure like loans etc. You must not take any oral commitment because you will then have to repent later. A written estimate is a prudent thing to be asked for before you take any hasty decision. But some people are really allergic to such topics. They simply won’t listen to these stuffs. So what would you offer them? Are there any alternatives for the procedure of liposuction? Are there such non-surgical means to remove excess fat from the body? Are there any such means that do not involve surgical use and also exercise is discarded? Well, the answer is yes. Some creams and gels as available in the market guarantee melting of fat and thus removal of the same from the body. This is one of the types of non-surgical liposuction. But not all are reliable. Though some of these gels and creams really prove as good for non-surgical liposuction, the majority of them are not recommended by the FDA. Thus doctors do not support such creams and gels. For them there are some non-surgical liposuction methods. A few of them are creams, injections, ultra sonic sculpturing etc. |
