Find Out More About The Epilation ProcessEpilation is the process for loss of hair. Epilation can be a temporary or a permanent process wherein a person may have hair loss. Temporary removal of hair is also known as epilation. Epilation is the process of removal of hair beneath the surface of the skin. A number of techniques are employed by women for the process of epilation. Epilation may include various processes such as waxing and threading. Epilation is generally done so as to make the skin look smooth. Epilation is done by most women so as to remove the hair on the legs and arms. There are various methods that a person can employ for this purpose. Getting waxed or threading allows a person to remove the unwanted hair in the body. Waxing is a technique in which the portion of the body from where the unwanted hair is to be removed is applied with a coating of waxed based gel or wax itself. On application of wax on the body, the small hair on the skin and beneath the skin gets adhered to the way. Then the wax is removed by pulling off the thin layer deposited on the skin. This thin layer of wax that is coated on the skin when pulled, detaches the hair from the root, and a hence the unwanted hair is removed. Waxing is a tedious process and a person may have to undergo a lot of pain. Although some pain has to be suffered a large number of women prefer this conventional method of removing hair from the skin. This method is less expensive and doesn’t require any professional guidance or equipment. Waxing is done by many women to remove the extra hair from the body. Another method of removing the unwanted hair from the body is doing threading. Threading can be done in the beauty parlours. In threading a pair of threads a re used. Threads are wound over each other in such a way that by application of tension the threads rotate and move over one another. Threading is required when precision in required. In threading the twinning and un winding of the two threads is put to use. While the threads move over one another get a hold on the small hairs present on the skin. Due to the pull the threads exert on the hair the hair is removed from the skin. Threading lends great precision and is usually used to provide epilation to a smaller area of skin. Threading is mainly done to provide good shape to the eyebrows and to remove unwanted facial hair. Threading is a rather slow process and requires a persons help, that is one cannot thread the hairs on his own. But it lends great precision to the epilation process. Another technique for epilation is plucking. In plucking a pair of pluckier is require. A pluckier is of the shape of a forceps, which can be used to hold the small hair present on the face and on the forehead. |
