How To Get Liquid Nitrogen?

Nitrogen is an element of the periodic table that has an atomic number  seven and is denoted by the capital; letter ‘N’. Nitrogen is a stable gas is mostly inert under normal condition. Nitrogen gas is a diatomic gas and quite un reactive. There is another form of nitrogen that is not in the gaseous form but the liquid form. This is known as the liquid nitrogen. Liquid nitrogen is well known for its application and advantages.

Liquid nitrogen is obtained at a temperature of minus three hundred and twenty one degree Fahrenheit. Liquid nitrogen is very cold and can be used for cooling purposes. It is nothing but a liquefied form of the nitrogen gas. It has medical uses and is used for removing warts. For this purpose the liquid nitrogen is sprayed onto the skin.

Then after a couple of sprays the wart is removed from the skin. Liquid nitrogen is a very important component and has it application in all felids including the ice cream factories. Liquid nitrogen and dry ice that is solid carbon dioxide are used to keep the ice cream below their freezing points during their transportation.

Liquid oxygen is obtained by either applying pressure on the nitrogen gas or by reducing its temperature to a minimum required level. It is very important to know that liquid nitrogen converts directly into its gaseous form on heating. Liquid nitrogen can exist at only a given temperature.

It has a wide variety of application. Liquid oxygen is used to remove and treat the unusual skin growth. Also the unwanted growths on the skin can be removed using liquid nitrogen. For removing warts from any part of the body the liquid nitrogen is sprayed a couple of times on the affected portion of the skin and the warts can be removed thereafter, It is also used to remove other unusual growths such as pre cancers and keratose. A person can get these problems treated using the liquid nitrogen.

For spraying the liquid nitrogen on the affected part of the skin a liquid nitrogen spray is used which deposits a thin layer of liquid oxygen on the skin. Due to the extremely low temperature of the liquid nitrogen the warts or the keratose is removed on the evaporation of the liquid nitrogen.

It is not difficult to obtain liquid nitrogen, as air is a mixture comprising of around seventy percent of nitrogen, twenty eight percent of t oxygen and the other composite gases. Hence nitrogen is available in abundance and liquid nitrogen can be easily obtained by converting the nitrogen in the gaseous state to the liquid state. Also since there are a number of other applications of liquid nitrogen it is prepared and used on a large scale.

Liquid nitrogen can hence be used for removing the unwanted skin growths including the warts, which are the black color circular structures present on the skin. Also the second important use of liquid nitrogen is in the refrigeration purposes, for keeping the ice creams and other stuff below their freezing temperature.
