| I've had an extremely acne since I was thirteen. After years of suffering, I finally tried Proactiv. At first, it worked great. Then after the first two months, my acne came back. Proactiv keeps the tiny pimples from forming, but it didn't do too much for the large, inflamed, and painful nodules that were my problem. I don't have time to do the entire three step process twice a day. You have to wait for it to dry before putting your makeup on and before you go to bed so it won't bleach your pillow case.... if you're committed to following the regimine, I'm sure it will work. It's just such a pain in the ass. | |

| I have been using Proactiv for about 5 years now and can't live without it. I developed moderate acne during my senior year of college and after seeing the Proactiv commercials, I decided to give it a try. Nothing else had worked, but within days I saw a huge difference in my skin. The acne cleared almost immediately and my skin became better, brighter and more balanced. While I don't like the inconvenience of Proactiv, I will never switch products. Believe me, I've tried other stuff, but always go back to Proactiv. I love it! | |

| I have not started using Proactive.... yet. I just ordered it for the first time the other day. I have been doing ALOT of research on Proactive and I just wanted to remind everyone that this is just like any other acne product–it's not going to work for everyone. It depends on how bad your acne is, how sensitive your skin is, and if you are allergic to any ingredients in the system. I really think that people have to try it for themselves in order to know if it really works. I have seen alot of bad reviews, but I have seen alot of good reviews, too. I don't suffer from bad acne, but I am going to give it a try and if it doesn't work I'll find something else. | |

| I've been using ProActiv now for about a year or so. It keeps your acne UNDER CONTROL but doesn't eliminate it, plain and simple. My acne has never been severe, but enough to keep me self concious and has led me to wear make up, and as a male college student, that's a deep dark secret. I've been reading reviews concerning other products and have decided to try another product which comes with a 365 day guarantee, not a 60 day. If you believe Jessica and Diddy, go for it, but take it from me, and unpaid spokesperson if you will, it's worth a shot if you've got a pimple or two, anything more, try something else. | |

| I have been using Proactiv for 6 weeks. It made my skin smoother but I still get pimples every now and then. It is not worth the $106.00 I paid for it. I am thinking of returning it. | |

| I am 14 years old, and a couple weeks ago I started using proactiv. I had moderate to severe acne covering my knees for four years, and I tried every other treatment my parents and I think of. I couldn't permanently get rid of it. After I bought proactiv, my acne was completely gone within a week. For those who said their acne didn't go away or became more severe, it happens because the proactiv brings the infection out and sometimes makes it worse for a while. There are still some annoying scars left, but I am so releived. I can walk out of the house with shorts, not feeling embarassed. I really love it and it may be costly but it is worth the price. I don't get acne too bad on my face, but I started using it a week ago when I had a sudden break out and now my face it smooth and clear again. The results you get depend on your type of skin, but I highly highly recommend you try it because it can it so great! | |

| I used proactiv for a couple of years and it did a pretty good job until my skin changed. I had to stop using the cleanser and toner, they dried out my skin too much and the everyday exfoliation was too much after years of use. The exfoliation irritated my skin and make me break out, but only after prolonged use. So I now use a mild cleanser, the equate brand of Neutogena's oil-free cleanser which has 2% salicylic acid, I use Neutorgena's alcohol-free toner, and the proactiv repairing lotion. And my acne went away! So I think the REAL reason proactiv works is the repairing lotion. It works great to moisturize in the summer and in winter I use it with their green tea moisture (which is FABULOUS) and my skin is great! | |

| no no no. i used proactiv for maybe 3 1/2 months and i saw no improvement! i didnt have severe acne but after seeing the info commercials, i thought proactiv would make my skin completely clear. instead, it dried out my skin and because of the high amount of benzoly proxide, it made my brown/black eyebrows red! that was the last straw once i saw it was dying my eyebrows. i stopped using proactiv and for the last 2 months i started using the new neutragena oil free acne stress scurb and at night i put on the new sopt treatment from neutragena and so far, so good. the best part is i dont have to spend $50 a month on my acne products. instead i spend about $12 which lasts for about 2 months. so dont use proactiv, it doesnt work. if youre trying to compare your skin type to mine..... im 17 and ive had acne sine i was 13. im not completely covered in acne, i have oily skin, i have sensitve skin, and proactiv couldnt help me. hope i helped. | |

| OMGHQ!!! This stuff really does work, but only if you have elephant skin on your face! I had mild to moderate acne about 2 months ago, so i was super excited when i got this product. However, when i tried it the first 2 weeks, my acne didnt improve at all and my skin got veeery dry. The lotion is the drying stuff, and very acidic, so i bought guinot pure balance cream and now combined with proactive my skin is wonderful!. I use the cleanser and toner twice a day and the lotion at every other night. during the day i use the balance cream and thats what keeps my skin from drying out. Guinot is really expensive, but it smells wonderful and keeps your face matte anyway, so its definetely my fave product along with proactiv! | |
