| I had a stye on my right bottom lid, didnt know what it was so I just bought some regular eye relief drops and put a couple of drops in my eye in the morning, at night and when ever it was bothering me as long as I had the chance. The stye cleared up within a week . Big tip: Dont itch it or touch it,will heal faster. | |

| Guy, what you have may be a chalazion. these two are mistaken for one another most of the time. Normally, a stye will go away after about a week or so, but a chalazion will stay longer, sometimes for a few years or longer. You can go on Wikipedia (a free encyclopedia online) and look at the similarities and differences and there are also home remedies you may try to use to rid yourself of this infection. | |

| ok....I've had a stye on my bottom left eyelid for about 4-5 months now. It doesn't hurt at all, but it's very embarrassing and very frustrating. It's pretty big and it's very red(which helps people to notice it). But the funny thing is, when i pull down my eyelid, i can see a little white bump. 5 days ago, I had surgery on the stye and i was so happy. When the docter took the patch off my eye, I went home to see how it was. To my BIG dissapointment.....the red bump(stye) was still there. But the eyelid was smaller now....the docter took away the white bump, but the stye(or red bump) was still there. My mom said that it was inflamed when i first got the stye, that's why it was red. i told her and showed her the bump, she said "it's going to heal, you just had the surgery, it's not going to heal overnight, the docter took away the white bump which led to the inflamation..now that the white bump is gone, the red bump(stye) will soon go down." i really hope this thing goes away and i never want it again, i've had some before....if anybody would like to give some advise or reply to me, here's my email: t-man_psp@hotmail.com | |
