I Have A Stye, On my Right Eye, And, I Tried A Hot washcloth, And that didnt work, and I tried To Pop it, and it keeps comming back. I am getting very nervous, because just yesterday, i looked up what would help, and it said that popping it can cause blindness to the eye. I have stye medicine, but it doesnt seem to work. I Am scared to go to the doctor, because i dont want him to hurt me. Please Help!

I have a stye now, and have rubbed gold on it and it DOES Work. The stye is far less painful that it has been all day.

I had a really bad stye just under my upper eyelid and it swelled so bad I couldn't see half of what I normally do. I tried the hot teabag thing, held it on for almost 10 minutes straight, and then I took it off and there was all the weird oil on there - it worked! Oh yeah, it feels kinda tingly when it's on for a while, I guess it's the caffeine in it or something. (I used black tea)

I had a stye and a lady on my job told me her grandmother used warm salt water. She would take a white cloth and let it soak in the warm salt water and then place it over the eye for a while. I was skeptical at first but what had i to loose, and low and behold, "It worked."

I had a huge stye on my upper eyelid and it hurt pretty bad. The only thing that worked for me was a clean cloth saturated in the hottest possible water and applied to the eye as a compress. Do it at least four times a day and the stye will be gone. Use water as hot as you can stand it and never allow anyone to share your visine or any eye drops!

I've never had anything like this before. So I called my Granny. Dip tea bag in hot water, wrap it in a clean white or light color wash cloth. Make sure it has cool enough so you can place it on your eye. And relax. She also told me to use an aloe vera leaf split it open and place on top of my eye. It tool about 5 days but it work. Please keep your hands clean and in between time use a clean washcloth with warm water and place over your eye. But the best thing she told me is to clear my mind and relax will applying the remedy.

my doctor gave me eye drops for my stye and told me hot compresses would make it go away in about 3-4 days. my barber [[of all people]] told me that tea bags [[hot and damp after making tea]] would make my stye go away by tomorrow. I've yet to try that but i'm about to. She said black tea works especially well.
