THERE IS A STYE IN MY BROWN EYE!!!!

Some of the styles could be a stye. The bumps could be a chalazion (usually blocked oil ducts- not an infection like a stye, though the chalzion could become infected). Warm compresses help both but chalzions (if they last more than a few months) are sometimes very stubborn and might have to be lanced. These bumps are usually under the eyelid.

I'm working on getting my stye off, I hate looking this way. I really thought it was some kind of STD. I feel now, from what I read it's just coming to a head state. That's why it looks white and nasty.

My 7 year old daughter has a stye. She is Autistic so she can not tell me if it hurts but looking at it hurts me probably more than her. This is her 2nd one. She has ointment and I'm applying the hot compresses and it went down but it is a slow process. I will try a couple of the recommendations and hopefully it will go away. Its just not a pretty sight.

I have a stye. It's getting pretty big. My mom is trying the egg treatment. It hurts all through the day. I will continue the egg treatment throughtout the day.

I have a stye. Its not that painful anymore but its humiliating. I'm going to the mall today and I don't want every one to just look at me. But I'm doing that boiling egg thing right now, so hopefully, it works better than the wet clothes.

My 5 year old daughter always gets styes. We boil water for about 2 minutes, then we add an egg into the water. Let it stand for about 1 minute then remove egg from the water. Place egg on the stye. Hold there for a couple of minutes. The egg acually holds the heat in one place for a longer period of time and there are no hot spots like in a wash cloth. This has actually help the stye go away sooner.

I've had a stye in my eye for almost eight months....then got another in the other eye after about four months from wiping one eye to the other when itching...the eye ointment from doctor is an antibiotic, but the cure has been VERY SLOW....both of them are still visible to this day, although they have gone down in size....
