Beach Wedding Favors

A beach wedding is one of these most fun to plan-especially when it comes to deciding what to use as a beach wedding favor. Some of the most fun beach-themed wedding favors out there include the following:

• Handcrafted wooden place card holders: These are often carefully constructed into pineapple, starfish, seahorse, fish, palm tree or fan shapes. Believe it or not, these carefully-designed items often cost as as little as two dollars each. Some of them are even as inexpensive as a dollar or less each.  

• Martini glass gel candle: This is always a party favorite, even at weddings. Guests often love the smell of the candle, which is often used as a small accent to any home décor. These sell for an average of 2.75 each, but can possibly be found at dollar stores as well.

• Engraved Stones: You can find beach stones that are polished and engraved. Either that or you can tap into your own rock collection and create your own beach wedding favors out of them. 

Sayings such as “love rocks” or “true love always” would look divine on these. They can double as a table decoration.

• Glass Coasters: Why not set beach-themed coasters under the reception table water glasses? Perhaps the bride and groom's name and/or photo can be included in them if they are hand-made items. 

• Personalized mint tins: You can hand out one of the most time-tested favors-butter mints-in these small hinged tin boxes. If you want them to blend in with your beach them  you may want to find ones that are painted a white, ivory, coral, or other beach color. These tins would look exquisite with the bride and groom's names enclosed in hearts on the outside of each one.

• Small candles in a seashell base: You can find a candle making recipe and do this yourself. Otherwise, you can possibly find candles in seashell bases at bath and body stores or other specialty shops. 

• Tropical animal-shaped soaps: This is also a fun favorite. Starfish, sea horse, tropic fish, or pineapple shaped soaps will keep for years. Wrapped just right, they provide guests with a memory that will last a lifetime.

• Tea light or travel candles in holders: You can often get creative with these items. Sometimes you can find (or make) candle holders shaped like beach chairs, sand castle buckets, or a variety of other beach objects. Often they are made just right for fitting tea light or travel candles in them.  

• Personalized tea or coffee cups: Perhaps you want people to remember you each  morning while they have their favorite warm winter beverage. These of course can double as a table setting, and often come specially made for beach themed wedding placements.

• Fish-shaped chocolate wrapped in a net: You can easily find white or black netting for this project in party stores. You may even find in fish stores, and you can fill them with some type of fish-shaped candy or tropical-shaped chocolates. They will closely resemble bags of fish harvested from the sea.  

You can also be creative and think of your own great ideas for memorable wedding favors. The more unique the better and your guests will also appreciate the “favor” as well.
